Clay Plant Millwright Position

QUALIFICATION: Millwright/Diesel Mechanic (Qualified Artisan)

EXPERIENCE: MIN 5 years

DUTIES:

• Responsible for maintenance, process, production, and management of Clay - Plant
• AC/DC VSD (Variable Speed Drive)
• PLC (Programmable Logic Control) Super-user
• Pumo pump experience
• General Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance and repairs
• Inspection, Replacement, and Overhaul of Motors and Gearboxes
• Conveyor-maintenance e.g., Photocell, Proximity Switches, Bearings and Limit Switches
• Inspect Electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, Defect, and the need for adjustment or repair/ replace and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Prepared specifications of electrical systems and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conformed to standards and customer requirements.
• Developed a controlling system for 3-phases'''''''' electric motor.
• Identified and solved electronic design problems, resulting in more efficient and cost-effective products.
• Operating machinery efficiently on a day-to-day basis
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Assist with breakdowns and services on equipment
