SUMMARY:
Urgently looking for 3 - 4 Red Seal Trade tested Millwrights (Waltloo - Pretoria) with 3 years post qualification experience for a brand new FMCG factory based in Pretoria. We're ideally looking for someone with robotic experience within a bakery in combination with the maintenance and faultfinding of PLC's (ideally OMRON).
You will be required to work shifts (Day/ Night) and weekends on plant equipment (mechanical and electrical). Solid knowledge and experience on AC/DC drives are essential. Any bakery experience will secure your position for an interview.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements

Millwright Artisan (Trade Test) (Red Seal)
Min 3 years experience post Trade.
Min 5-7 years in relevant trade as a Millwright (Electrical and Mechanical).
Experience with Robotics will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Omron PLC’s (Fault finding and Maintenance).
Min 3 years extensive experience with AC/DC drives.
Knowledge of Safe working practices
Understanding of the packing process.
Expert knowledge of engineering principles.
Good communication skills.
Innovation / Continuous Improvement skills.
Ability to work within a team.
Sense of urgency/ results orientation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Technical support and troubleshooting according to maintenance schedule on site.
Responsible for the Preventive Plant Maintenance.
On the job training.
Plant and system upgrades / Project management.
System maintenance.
