Millwright required in Welkom. Will render an After Market support technician role on Mining machinery and Trackless Mining equipment. Solid maintenance, faultfinding and sales / ability to communicate well with others required. Must have solid skills and experience as an Electrical Millwright/ artisan on Trackless Mining/ mining machinery.

Aftermarket Sales & Support Technician (Millwright)

Immediate vacancy for an Aftermarket Sales & Support Technician / Millwright in the Welkom area at a mine.
The ideal person wil fulfill maintenace functions and assistance sales team on Mining Machines and trackless Mining equipment.
will work for Original Equipment Manufacturer to renders support function on mines in the area.
Qualification and skills required:
- Millwright trade test with minimum of 5 years Mining related experience
- Experience in the maintenance of trackless mining equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- The candidate must be medically fit to work underground
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and supervising of day-to-day aftermarket activities in the region
- Co-ordinate activities and ensure that work is conducted in an efficient and seamless manner
- Within the scope of duties, establishes and maintains a healthy working relationship with the company’s clients
- Must ensure that critical spares and components are in stock and will be replenished as and when required in collaboration with other team members
- Identifies critical spares that are required for the introduction of new equipment to the area, i.e., to align with the delivery of new machine platforms in the Northern Cape
- Offers technical advice to clients regarding correct maintenance practices and procedures
- The employee will co-ordinate and schedule his activities, ensuring that the company’s clients receive exceptional service support
