Millwright Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the Automotive Component sector is looking to employ a Millwright to join their team in Brits (North West)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Execute all maintenance activities with TPM system on company equipment and facilities.
Ensure that facilities electrical installations comply with the required regulations.
Support the installation and assembly of new equipment.
Provide support and backup to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Conduct repair and maintenance work on company equipment and facilities.
Stop / prevent the use of any unsafe equipment or machine.
Stop production if products do not meet product quality requirements.
Ensure equipment is in an acceptable state of repair to continuously produce good quality products at the required cycle time.
Ensure that the required lockout procedure is adhered to before any work on machines or equipment is carried out.
Perform planned maintenance activities to ensure equipment is kept in good working condition and ready for production at high levels of efficiency with no failures.
Complete all TPM related activities within the scheduled time as assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
Attend to breakdowns and repair equipment within the required time frame.
Perform all critical inspections on Forklift vehicles, Generator, Compressor, etc.
Support production team to ensure the minimum down time for the assembly lines.
Complete the breakdown job card data and sign off together with the relative persons.
Comply with maintenance administrative responsibilities at all times.
Ensure [General rules and regulations] are followed and adhered to at all times.
Support with improvement activities when required.
Support the backup of all machine controller software and programs.
Any reasonable duty or task requested by the maintenance supervisor which contributes to the purpose of the job, or to the achievement of the organizations targets and objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

Grade 12 / standard 10
Qualified Millwright
Min 3 years in a maintenance function
Computer literacy in all MS Office applications
Experience in the Automotive Industry advantageous
Health and safety requirements for industry
