SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Millwright to join their team in East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description: 

  • Maintaining workplace safety standards and a safe working environment 
  • Attend all mechanical and electrical breakdowns
  • Investigate and analyse cause and effect of breakdown on equipment
  • Carry out necessary activity to repair/ resolve breakdowns
  • Advise management of electrical and mechanical problems and recommend activities to minimize the number of breakdowns 
  • Provide on-line and assistance when required

Job Requirements: 

  • Trade tested Millwright qualification
  • Wireman's License (Added Benefit)
  • 5 years maintenance experience 
  • Manufacturing plant environment experience 
  • PLC's Drivers, Servo Motors and SCR's experience and knowledge
  • Good knowledge and problem solving ability for both mechanical and electrical problems
  • Carry out preventative maintenance as scheduled 
  • Carry out plant and property maintenance when required 

Competencies Required: 

  • Sound technical and problem solving skills 
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal 
  • Ability to read drawings 
  • Ability to work precise dimensions and tolerance
