SUMMARY:
Our client in the Agricultural Industry based in the Eastern Cape (Paterson) is looking to employ a Millwright to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job description:

Do daily inspections in your area of responsibility as per daily log sheet
Log and report deviations on the daily report
Repair deviations as reported or requested
Execute preventative tasks as per schedules
Complete and hand back job cards as soon as the task is completed
Complete stores requisition for with drawl of spares as required
Health & Safety policies and procedures in alignment to OHSA
Ensure that the tasks are completed to adhere to the plant requirements
Perform standby duties as and when required.
Resolve electrical and or mechanical problems as may be required
Prioritize and manage job cards to ensure effective completion of required projects
Ensure that all tools that are used are in safe and good order
Report all deviations on equipment and or unsafe acts
Report any unsafe work to your SHE rep or supervisor in writing
Comply to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and all Company’s Health and Safety Rules and policies
Remove all redundant items from the work place

Job Requirements:

N3 or Grade 12
Trade Test – Electrical
6 months On Job Training
Minimum 3 years’ experience in required trade
Mechanical and Electrical inclined
Problem solving
Crisis management
Self-starter, Hands on
Work and operate independently
Ability to trouble shoot, remain calm and initiate effective solution in crisis
