SUMMARY:
My client in Isando is URGENTLY seeking a Millwright with plant equipment maintenance. Electronics knowledge and able to accurately interpret technical drawings.

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric/N3 in mechanical studies (Not less than N3)
Qualified Millwright (essential)
4 years exp in machine maintenance
Up to 2yrs knowledge of electronics
Able to accurately interpret technical drawings
Detailed knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulic tools and equipment
Must have excellent knowledge of lifting equipment to maintain in line with legal requirements
Be analytical and able to evaluate information to solve problems
Good interpersonal and communication skills

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Maintain plant and equipment
Mechanical maintenance of all machines monitors
Repairs electronic equipment and machine monitors
Repairs of lifting equipment
Keep accurate records of all work done on machines and equipment
Ensure machine breakdowns are fixed to reduce machine down-time
Develop and implement machine maintenance schedule
Provide technical assistance & support to artisans in department
Liaise with Maintenance Manager on executing preventative and planned machine maintenance
Must have sound planning skills
