About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Millwright with solid FMCG experience to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, conducting maintenance, and supporting production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections, diagnose faults, and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated systems and packaging machinery.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on machine performance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP, and company procedures.
Assist with factory upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.

Minimum Requirements

Trade Tested Millwright (essential).
3–5+ years’ experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities.
Experience with high-speed packaging lines and automated machinery.
Knowledge of PLCs (advantageous).
Ability to work shifts, standby, and overtime when required.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
