SUMMARY:

Eskort is seeking three qualified and experienced Artisans to join the Maintenance team. We are seeking individuals with a passion for machinery, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach. The positions are based in Heidelberg, Gauteng.

The candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
Install, repair, and commission equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
Minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting

POSITION INFO:
Qualification

Trade tested Millwright/Electrician or Fitter

Knowledge and Skills

5-8 years experience as a Millwright/Electrician or Fitter
Experience in a meat or pork processing environment.
Knowledge of welding, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience in CNMMS
Knowledge of boilers and air compressors
Analytical skills
