Education:
- 3+ years industry experience working within Photoshop / Sketch on user interface projects for web / digital application. (This includes working with developers to ensure the desired end result)
- A strong portfolio of recent web / digital work that illustrates a focus on UI design
- High competency in the Adobe products, focusing on Photoshop & Illustrator
- A strong understanding of digital design application. (Designing for digital platforms)
- A strong understanding of responsive design methodologies
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- A desire and ability to lead and mentor junior members of your team.
- A strong eye for detail and finesse, accompanied by a focused mind-set that naturally leads to excellent work that is on brief and appropriate to the project context and business goals.
- Experience working on UI design for large enterprise platforms / SaaS products.
- Experience working in Sketch, Adobe After Effects, Adobe XD, Keynote, InVision
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- An understanding of what is required from the front-end side of the project lifecycle. (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- You will assist in developing their evolving UX & UI processes
- Enabling teams to consistently working in unison towards a common end goal.
- You will be expected to lead and innovate on a range of UI focused tasks across a variety of digital projects within the financial services industry.
- The responsibilities associated with this role are focused on the ability to create, craft and iterate on user interface designs and interactions within our digital products / platforms
- Interpret internal briefs and provide direction
- Conceptualise creative design solutions
- Work collaboratively with key team members to deliver high quality work
- Be able to present to other staff and clients in a clear and exciting manner
- Responsible for ensuring check-ins with your line-manager in order to meet deadlines
- Effectively manage production timelines and be responsible towards deadlines
- Adhere to processes and standards of delivery
- Keep up to date with current and emerging design trends and technologies
- Manage multiple projects and assist in the coordination of the project team
