Mid-level Accountant/Auditor - Remote
Our client is looking for a talented Mid-level Accountant/Auditor to work remotely and drive financial excellence.
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accounts for clients
- Preparation of financial statements for clients
- Handling tax compliance, including the preparation of corporation tax returns
- Perform detailed financial audits for clients, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations
- Evaluate internal controls, recommending improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Analyse financial statements, document findings, and prepare comprehensive audit reports
- Reviewing work of junior members of staff and providing feedback to those staff members
- Dealing with client queries providing support on accounting and financial matters
- Collaborating with the team to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
Requirements- AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA
- Proven experience in a similar role within an accounting practice
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
