POSITION INFO:
Our client, a master of innovative magical IT solutions, seeks a Spell-Testing Enchanter to join their coven in weaving high-quality payment charms and supporting software for global supply chains. This role focuses on ensuring enchantments meet both mystical and practical requirements through manual and automated spell-testing. Responsibilities include deciphering arcane system scrolls, crafting and casting test scripts, and maintaining a production-mirroring test realm. The Enchanter will ally with spellbinders, product sages, and guild units to prioritize test conditions, verify compliance with wizarding standards, and provide detailed reports of magical defects. The role involves contributing to Agile rituals, participating in design councils, and driving continuous improvement in testing charms. This position offers the chance to work on scalable quests impacting vital supply chains, within a fellowship of 10-15 wizards in a vibrant, inclusive environment.
Skills & Experience:
Mastery in manual and automated test script conjuring and casting
Expertise in test planning, spell case creation, and defect trend divination
Familiarity with mystical tools such as JIRA, TestRail, SoapUI, or Postman
Knowledge of SQL for querying magical archives and understanding their structures
Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and sprint-based spellcraft
Understanding of functional, non-functional, and integration testing charms
Ability to analyze arcane requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Familiarity with wizarding protocols and security enchantments (preferred)
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Spell-Testing Enchanter (mid-level preferred)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent prior learning. Certified Test Analyst (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.
