SUMMARY:
Our client, a global leader in the automotive sector, has an opportunity available for a Metrologist to join their Quality department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Designs, implements and carries out analyses, test methods, concepts and procedures, and ensures adherence to test programs for assigned specialization.
Designs or amends quality analyses and test procedures, implements test norms, installs and adjusts equipment and ensures proper calibration.
Ensures adherence to defined test procedures at all stages of the process, and ensures accuracy and reliability of all testing.
Executes or oversees execution of test sequence and test series as defined and agreed, and ensures proper documentation in the systems.
Evaluates test results, and derives, discusses or decides appropriate measures in case of non-conformance.
Cooperates with external laboratories, audit authorities or internal stakeholders and customers with respect to design and qualitative aspects of test procedures.

Requirements:

University degree in mechanical or industrial engineering. Quality qualification will be an advantage.
1 to 3 years of experience in the automotive environment.
