SUMMARY:
Our Client, a leader within the Office Automation Industry is looking for a Meter Administrator to join their team on a three month fixed term contract basis. This position will be based in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collect Status Pages for meter readings to be billed for machines not on system
  • Save meters collected ready to be uploaded for billing
  • Liaise with customers to arrange different times to request meters in cases in which meters are not accessible
  • Verify readings in cases where usage appears to be abnormal
  • Contact customer and/or liaise with Contracts Administrator / Billing Administrator regarding machines that cannot be located in order for meter readings to be collected (put machines on service hold and log a call for a technician to go out and check if machine is still in use at a specific location)
  • Report any problems encountered by customers to the Service Department / Call Desk
  • Monitor and log calls for support
  • Follow up on open support calls and escalate if necessary
  • Collect and distribute Status Pages collected for Dealer contracts
  • Deal with queries related to Meter Readings
  • Update client contact details and meter location information
  • Monitor back-to-back agreements where additional machines are installed and verify against customer schedule
  • Cancellation of contracts / terminations of machines
  • Assist with ensuring all billing is completed by the monthly deadline
  • Overseeing day to day ad-hoc administration as required by the Service Administration Manager and Contracts Administrator

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Grade 12

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Computer literate (MS Office; MS Excel – advanced)
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of basic accounting practices
  • Sound financial understanding oof rental and monthly contracts
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in administration
  • Experience in the Office Automation Industry advantageous
