Metallurgy Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry has an opportunity available for a Metallurgy Manager, to be based in the Rustenburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering Degree or National Diploma in Mineral Processing
• 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably 3 years’ managerial experience

KPAs:

• Labour complement in line with budget
• Coach and counsel people to ensure improved performance levels
• Maintain and improve relationships with key stakeholders
• Ensure the safe and environmentally friendly operation of the Metallurgical processes
• Liaise with Mining and Engineering to ensure effective and efficient process flow
• Coordinating test work programs to enhance understanding of various ore bodies/products and their physical and metallurgical properties, limitations and potential
• Coordinating & ensuring metallurgical reports, mass balances and metal accounting is in line with best metallurgical accounting practices
