Clothing Production Coordinator - Durban
My client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented,to drive production process from concept to completion
- Experienced: 2-5 years in apparel production or merchandising (Menswear woven or garment production experience a plus).
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook. PLM/ERP experience preferred.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with a knack for managing multiple priorities.
- Communicator: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and international vendors.
- Fashion Enthusiast: Basic understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and costing.
- Bonus Points: experience with logistics and customs clearance
- Oversee Production Flow: Manage purchase orders, track production schedules, and ensure timely delivery of samples and bulk orders.
- Factory management : Communicate daily with local & overseas factories and suppliers to coordinate samples, fabrics, trims, and approvals.
- Quality Control: Review production submits, maintain quality standards, and resolve any issues with vendors.
- Data Mastery: Update and manage production reports.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with design, merchandising, and logistics teams to streamline processes and meet deadlines.
- Sample Management: Track and distribute marketing, salesman, and top-of-production samples.
- Innovate & Improve: Contribute to trend research, cost negotiations, and process optimization
