Merchandiser (Durban)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to support product visibility and brand presence across South Africa. We are looking for your basic understanding of networking and technology products.


The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed according to company standards while maintaining accurate stock levels and strong relationships with personnel. This position will be based in Durban in KwaZulu Natal.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade12)
• Minimum 3 years of previous merchandising experience
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (if applicable)
• Basic understanding of sales principles

 
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure correct merchandising and product placement in line with company guidelines
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock
• Ensure pricing, promotions, and product information are accurate and visible
• Build and maintain positive relationships with store staff and management
• Provide feedback and reports
• Ensure products are clean, functional, and well-presented at all times
