Merchandiser

SUMMARY:
My client, one of the leading tools companies is looking for a Merchandiser in the Bloemfontein region. The successful candidate will join the Sales Team to provide top service to all their customers, build strong customer relationships and ensure their stock is merchandised professionally in accordance with the company’s standards.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Ensure the correct stand signage is used per stand - this refers to all headers, stickers, out of stock cards and that the correct stands and other display material are used per brand.

• Keep record and notify the Sales Representative of any stock shortages and queries.

• Ensure that all stock and display stands are always clean and make sure that “out of stock” cards are displayed.

• Complete and submit weekly call reports.

• Perform stock counts when required.

• Repair broken packaging and ensured the necessary tools are available to perform these tasks.

• Assist the Sales Representative/s as and when needed upon manager’s request and approval.

• Ensure all stock are packed on the shelves and not kept in the storerooms unless space is limited.

• Collect and deliver stock as and when required.

 

Education:

• A Matric Certificate (non-negotiable).

• Knowledge of K8 will be advantageous.

• Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

• A valid driver’s license with no infringements or outstanding fines.

 

Duties include:

• Experience working in a sales environment.

• Power tool and accessory product knowledge is an advantage.

• Customer focused.

 

Salary: R96 000 per annum.
