SUMMARY:
Merchandise Admin Assistant (JNB)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The following will be your duties as the Merchandise Administrative Assistant with the Merchandise Department but not limited to:

Controlling of stock distributions
Printing and sending of orders to suppliers and tracking their progress
Front page order raising
Monitoring of Damages and returns and following up with suppliers
Tracking of samples and recon of sample charges
Assisting buyers with every day administrative tasks
Assisting buyers with preproduction samples
Quality control and inspections
Create, edit, maintain product information
Process and publish products to the site, manage timelines and pipelines for the Merchandise Department
Keep up to date with product information
Regularly review information database for accuracy and completeness with the Buyer
Manage stock levels and adjust pricing with the support from the Buyer
Monitor listings and take action on under-performing product lines with the Buyer
Update and pull weekly Stock and Sales Report and provide feedback to the Buyer.
