POSITION INFO:
Role Purpose
A healthcare insurance provider is looking for a membership administrator to act as a liaison between the company and its customers.
The successful candidate should be able to resolve all membership inquires and complaints in line with company policies, procedures, and rules with treating customers fairly.
Scope of Responsibility:
• Bulk membership loading and Data integrity.
• Update membership on MIP as required, including new members, cancellations, reinstatements, continuations, etc.
• Ensure accurate membership loads.
• Membership system administration.
• Resolve memberships queries
• Quality checks on membership data on the system.
• Reconcile employee listings to MIP.
• Effectively and professionally manage queries and day-to-day functions within SLA.
• Incorporating the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and POPIA in membership processes.
Qualification & Experience
- Matric
- FAIS Compliant qualification
- RE5
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role.
- Computer literate – Intermediate MS Office a must
- Ability to liaise with internal and external parties.
- Ability to work within an established team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to think quickly.
- Excellent data entry and typing skills.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Resilient: must be able to work under constant measurement and pressure and remain calm, professional, and willing to assist.
- Knowledge of The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the ability to apply this in day-to-day functions.
