SUMMARY:
This position will be based in The Netherlands and relocation assistance will be provided by the employer should you application be successful.
POSITION INFO:
Candidates must have technical background in an engineering contracting environment with all aspects of rotating equipment engineering.
Strong understanding of the technical requirements of the project and directing others to apply this into the project is crucial.
Candidate must have thorough knowledge of rotating equipment ranging from pumps, compressors and equipment package unit.
Turbine equipment experience is a prerequisite.
Candidate must be able to manage their work and be responsible for the proper and timely execution of tasks to project''''s specific contractual requirements.
Candidate will work as part of the Project team and must be able to work independently in a proactive role and able to make decisions.
Proven leadership and/or lead engineer capabilities is essential.
Main tasks will be support project various activities ranging from verification of the equipment and specification, requisition preparation with evaluations and vendor document review.
Minimum Requirements:
- >10 years’ experience
- Hands on, proactive and responsible, with good interpersonal and structured communication skills as independent worker
- preparation of equipment datasheets
- preparation of specifications and equipment requisitions
- evaluation of vendor bids
- involvement in technical clarifications with vendors
- review of vendor documentation
- Team working and collaboration attitude; work, co-ordinate in multidiscipline/office taskforce
- Good communication skills
- Multi-project phases experience
- Knowledge of industry Codes & Standards
- Knowledge of Dutch is advantageous, but not essential
- Knowledge of International rules and regulations required.
