JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for a Mechanical Production Assistant.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent with Mathematics and either science or a related technical subject.
Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and effectively communicate in English.
Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics.
Ability to handle and manipulate small components.
Hand Tools Knowledge.
Good Housekeeping skills.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Knowledge on the usage of measuring equipment.
Timekeeping skills.
Willingness to work beyond normal office hours when required.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks.
Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Assembly and Wiring.
Building of Prototypes.
Operation and setting of CNC routers.
Operation of:
- UV printer.
- Laser cutter.
- Powder coating plant.
- Vacuum forming machine.
Routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
Assist in new designs.
Stock Control.
Quality control and assurance.
