Mechanical Maintenance Manager

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS:
ØMinimum B Tech Mechanical Engineering or N6 or NQF equivalent.
ØGCC Factories will be an advantage.
Ø5 Years’ experience in a maintenance environment.
ØSupervision experience in a maintenance environment.
ØKnowledge of coal fired boilers and compressors.
ØComputer Literate and able to operate the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
ØExperience with SAP will be an advantage.
ØEnergetic, Self-motivated and able to work in a team.
ØGood communication skills (i.e. both verbal and written).
ØAbility to demonstrate good judgement and display initiative.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
ØManagement of the Mechanical maintenance department.
ØEnsure high quality and safety standards as per OHS-act and company procedures.
ØAll statutory inspections done and corrections up to date.
ØBudget and budget control of the Mechanical department.
ØContinual improvement and capital projects.
ØLean management.
ØSupply of steam and compressed air to manufacturing plants.
