POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their dynamic team.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Matric and Trade tested artisan with a minimum of NTC 3

JOB EXPERIENCE:

5 years qualifying experience gained in a heavy engineering, manufacturing environment.

CORE FUNCTION OF POSITION

Schedule maintenance, construct and assembly mechanical system, carry out minor and major repairs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Specialist experience must include the repair and maintenance of CNC machines, presses, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Doing maintenance work including during Shutdown
Knowledge of ASH Act, safety practices and safe working environments

Functional Competencies: Fault finder with analytical approach to duties

Personal attributes:

Self-driven, team player with high work ethics, reliable and to work unsupervised
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
