Mechanical Fitter - Steel - Zimbabwe

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience 

 

Purpose of Position:

 

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Qualified Trade Tested Mechanical Fitter with experience in the Construction, Steel Fabrication (Structural, Mechanical) industries in Zimbabwe. 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

• Tertiary Qualification – Diploma, Degree Trade Tested Mechanical Fitter
• Experience in Mechanical, Construction, Fabrication Structural Steel industries
• OHS, Hazardous Goods, Operating Heights, Cranes etc Certifications
• Willing & Able to work in Zimbabwe for the contract duration – Valid Passport
  • To be discussed with successful applicants: Prior Covid, Malaria etc testing, salary, allowances & project scope

 

Duties:

 

• 3- 5 years experience in a similar role
• Substantial experience in the fabrication of structural steel
• Good understanding of steel drawings
• Previous experience and excellent understanding of welding
• Previous experience in leading a Workshop team
• Manage entire workshop staff and meet production deadlines
• Optimize resources available to achieve a high level of productivity and output at all times.
