An Engineering company is seeking the expertise of a Mechanical Project Engineer with plant and project management experience for their operations in Sabie

POSITION INFO:

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Based in Sabie, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly competent Mechanical Engineer with project management experience.

This successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed according to the project scope and quality standards, within budget and time, without injuries and environmental incidents and that the project is successfully commissioned.

He/she will be responsible for project management; from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and close-out.

He/she will be responsible for contractor, sub-contractor and supplier management.

He/she will be responsible for project administration, feasibility studies and risk management.

Specific Requirements include:

 BEng Mechanical Engineering

 At least 5—10 years relevant experience

 Advanced Ms Excel, Projects

 Project Management experience

 Knowledge of thermodynamics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and condition based monitoring

 Energetic, optimistic and open to be challenged

 Innovative, proactive and strong focus on continuous process improvement  Strong analytical problem solving skills
