SUMMARY:
Join a distinguished and developing automotive manufacturer in Botswana, where you will have the opportunity to utilize your exceptional design skills to develop high quality products.

POSITION INFO:

You must have knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production/fabrication

Must be competent in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Must be competent in CAD with professional work experience

Must understand vehicle sub-systems such as: electrical, hydraulic, drive trains, mining equipment

Must have exceptional drafting skills

Conducting concept and design reviews

Sheet metal structure design

Component Design

Designing of OD drive lines

The ability to work well Autonomously and Collaboratively

Skills & Experience:

Competent in Autodesk Inventor (advantageous), or Solidworks, siemens NX

Sheet metal design experience

Understanding welding methods and procedures

Understanding of bills of materials and costing

Understand welding symbols, machine tolerance, and drawing layouts

Good problem-solving skills

Presenting technical information

General consulting skills

Minimum 3 – 6 years’ Mechanical Draughting experience

Qualification:

Diploma Mechanical Engineering / or valid Draughting qualification

Must have a valid drivers’ license

Must be willing to relocate to Botswana

Must have a valid passport
