POSITION INFO:
Generation of technical documentation and drawings
Designs according to international standards
Design involves parameters such as maximum safe operating pressure and temperature, safety factor, corrosion allowance and minimum design temperature (for brittle fracture)
Management of design, fabrication and supply of pressure vessels (replacements & existing)
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 – 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
Experience with pressure vessels
Knowledge of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes
Qualification:
BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
