SUMMARY:
An international, design-orientated corporation is looking for a mechanical design engineer to join its team. If you have a passion for design and would like to join a team filled with technical experts within their field who are competent in 3D CAD, then this opportunity is for you.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Produce efficient designs within the framework of simplicity, feasibility, cost efficiency, and accuracy
Compile assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings
Compile part specifications, Bill of materials, production orders, and manuals
Implement engineering change proposals on designs
Issue revisions and update the manufacturing drawings, material lists, and machine manuals
Layout drawing of customer manufacturing area
Provide technical support during the manufacturing process to processes and technicians on-site
Drafting of P&ID

Skills & Experience:
3D CAD experience – Solidworks preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine design and manufacturing

Qualification:
Diploma/Btech/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
 
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
