SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering sector seeks to employ a Mechanical Artisan. Trade-test advantageous.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

N6 Trade Tested advantageous

Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in similar role

Sound knowledge of mechanical equipment

Basic Rigging, Working at Heights, Welding, etc.

Be able to deliver and maintain high quality work and standards

Willing to work shifts and overtime when needed

Familiar with mechanical systems such as welding, part fabrication

Be able to read and understand drawings

Attain and maintain relevant licences and authorisations required to execute allocated duties

Driver’s License essential

Tasks:

Assemble, install, test and maintain any mechanical equipment

Diagnose malfunctioning systems and equipment to locate cause of breakdown

Ensuring minimum downtime in the event of breakdown

Mechanical preventative maintenance

Maintain high quality standard of work at all times and under pressure

Faultfinding and troubleshooting

Ensure all maintenance activities are performed to set quality standards without rework

Ensure machines are maintained to OEM standards
