SUMMARY:
Our client, a large boat manufacturing concern in the Eastern Cape, is looking to employ a qualified mechanic with marine motors experience for their Port Elizabeth branch soonest.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

At least 5 years of experience working with marine outboard motors including the use of diagnostic equipment.
Must be able to use manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify problems.
Able to perform and or assist with new Engine installations
Able to test parts and ensure they work correctly
Servicing of two and four-stroke motors
Building and assembling capabilities
Undertake other duties as assigned (repair steering systems, navigation, and electronic systems). This can be taught.
Aptitude using various specialised hand tools.
Commitment to health and safety guidelines
Good communication skills.
Able to work as a team player

Minimum Requirments:

5 years experience as a Qualified Mechanic with marine outboard motors experience preferably
Diagnostic Skills
Must be able to work with minimum supervision
Clear Credit and Criminal Record
