Mechanical Engineer – Diploma / Degree – Pumps, Motors, etc – Germiston

Job purpose (including but not limited to):

• Ensuring the equipment manufactured and supplied complies with specification / order and is fit for purpose
• Verify scope of work, provide milestone dates on engineering deliverables to support project schedule
• Verify pump and material selection, performance, mechanical seal selection and Auxiliaries Engineer and modify Bills of Material according to data sheet / order

Minimum requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in pumps, motors, mechanical seals, drawings, planning, pump selection, design, installation and maintenance
• Experience on Multistage pumps would be advantageous
• Computer literate | SAP experience essential
• Solid Edge or similar 3D CAD / mechanical design would be advantageous
• Experience on FEA (Finite Element Analysis) / CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics
• ECSA registered
