Main purpose of role Responsible for maintaining and operating a set of general books of account or set of accounts, including subsidiary ledgers, using automated systems. Supervision may be exercised over the work of a small number of clerical personnel assigned to the financial record-keeping unit. Does related work as required.

• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Statutory returns
• Payroll Reconciliations
• Month End Reconciliations
• Assisting with BBBEE
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Debtors and creditor’s function.
• Invoicing, customer statements and reconciling accounts.
• Process bank statements.
• Process journal entries.
• Assist with compiling monthly management accounts for group of companies
• VAT calculations and submissions
• Administration related to shipping of finished goods
• Communicating with Freight Forwarders / Couriers
• Data Capturing / Integrity
• Assisting with costings
• Contract / deal flow and Schedules
• Letters of Credit, Bank guarantees and swifts
• Add hoc
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree
• Minimum:5 years plus in similar role in Mining, Engineering, or Manufacturing environment
• Team player
• Strong administration skills
• Good communication skills - will communicate with clients, freight forwarders, shareholders
• Solid Fixed assets and inventory knowledge
• Solid Accounts payable and receivable knowledge
• Experience with clearing documentation, logistics, and shipping, exports and imports
• Customer service and negotiation skills to deal with the demands of overseas and local clients
• Familiar with the legal requirements regarding importing and exporting shipments, as well as company''s internal procedures
• Confident with figures to convert weights, volumes, and currencies for international shipments
• Huge advantage to have Syspro experience
• Advanced Excel
• Ability to work under pressure
Salary - R35 - R40 000pm CTC
