Matron

SUMMARY:
Matron wanted for a large Retirement Village including a Frail Care in Magaliesburg Area.


Duties include but are not limited to:

• Leading by example.
• Ensuring that patients / residents receive excellent quality care.
• Ensuring that staff levels are are appropriate to residents' needs.
• Managing staff nurses and care givers, ensuring that they fulfill their duties diligently and timeously.
• Empowering nurses to take on a wider range of nursing tasks.
• Improving and maintaining cleanliness in the Frail Care Centre.

POSITION INFO:

• 5 Years minimum experience in managing staff at an Old Age Home or Retirement Village including a B-Cur degree.
• Nursing Management Degree preferable, but practical geriatric nursing experience with Alzheimer''s and Dementia patients/residents of 10 years or more and a geriatric course will be acceptable.
• SANC Registered.
• Own transport a must.
• Living in Magaliesburg is preferable.
• Applicants must be trained in and have admin experience
• Computer skills required.
