POSITION INFO:

An international supplier of specialty chemicals and gases seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Inventory Planner

For the position you would be required to have:

Around 5 years’ work experience in planning, stock and logistics in a similar environment
SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) understanding
Experience working with an ERP system is ESSENTIAL
Highly computer literate (MS Office suite)

Responsibilities would include you to:

Stock purchases and planning, ensuring stock purchases are in line with customer demand and working capital limits
Stock counts, ensuring stock levels are proactively maintained in accordance with the planning system for optimisation of stock levels
Cylinder tracking, ensuring daily stock reconciliations
In and outbound Logistics Management, manage shipments of stock to ensure items are available when required
