SUMMARY:
Master Production Scheduler

POSITION INFO:

Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

Own the master scheduling process
Drive and measure on time delivery according to the master schedule and pre-production plan with manufacturing business unit and upstream departments
Engage with Master Planning on material availability to ensure a realistic master schedule
Serve the Marketing department as an internal customer and maintain a stable master schedule
Develop the sales operation and machine build plan
Maintain the rough-cut capacity plan
Facilitate the S&OP processes and meetings
Monthly financial forecasting

Minimum Skills required

Material Management qualification such as CPIM, PPIM or a qualification that includes Master Production Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning in its curriculum, such as Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Master Scheduling /Material Planning environment
Manufacturing experience is essential
SAP MPS module experience would be advantageous
Knowledge of Komatsu processes and procedures is essential
Must be computer literate in Microsoft suite (Advanced excel & power point)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational knowledge and skills including attention to detail

Must have good communication skills
Must have strong analytical skills and be able to work without supervision
