Job Position: Marketing and Fundraising Officer

Salary: R20 000 per month CTC commensurate with experience and qualification + possible incentive

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 5 years working experience, in a similar role
• Valid drivers license
• Previous fundraising experience, with preference in the education environment
• Experience of managing events, coupled with exceptional organizational skills
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Ability to write professional proposals and reports
• Confident with a professional manner and strong work ethics and integrity
• A positive, “can-do” attitude essential
Key Performance Areas:
• Cultivate relationships and raise funds for capital developments
• Grow the institute network, worldwide
• Manage the database, donations details and administration pertaining to this
• Develop and implement strategic fundraising campaigns and projects
• Writing funding proposals for potential donors
• Manage fundraising projects
• Source memorabilia and manage sales
• Organize events and maintain a calendar of events and initiatives
• Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner
• Drive the Celebrations Committee
