POSITION INFO:

Marketing Manager:

Responsible for leading & executing the marketing, brand & communications strategy, through continually enhancing the company’s various brand images; increasing brand awareness, ensuring efficient & appropriate advertising exposure, developing the appropriate social media strategy & campaigns, managing & performing all internal & external communications initiatives

Subordinate: Marketing Officer

Marketing:

Plan, develop & implement an effective marketing, brand & communication strategy & the subsequent campaigns.

Use the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications

Collate & analyse information on the current markets & advise the Company on the market behaviour & and future buying trends

Provide accurate & timely forecasts through utilising appropriate outsourcing tools and processes, and maintaining relevant information on prospective Clients

Identifying new growth opportunities by market segments

Manage the quality & standards of copy and branding for all marketing collateral, bids & proposal documents, presentations, external & internal communications in all media formats including brochures, letters, emails, websites & social media

Recommend creative, unique & effective selling techniques based on researched market analysis

Manage & monitoring ongoing spend against the budget, keeping accurate records & highlighting where variances occur

Branding & Communications:

Implementation of the company’s brand & communication strategies

Ensure brand & communication activity is developed & managed with the audience in mind and the Company’s values, strategic objectives and customer relationship strategy

On-going measuring of brand & communication activity to improve results & maximise the return to the company. Ensuring that the appropriate & relevant information is gathered and shared in a timely manner to aide organisational decision-making

Able to achieve defined objectives through explicit KPIs agreed with Sales & Marketing leadership. Able to adopt the agreed vision and mission of the organisation to ensure outputs are consistent with organisational strategy.

Take ownership & maintain of the company’s corporate identity manual & ensure that it is directives and guidelines always adhered by the company and its representatives

Supporting the Sales & Marketing team & group EXCO with all their desktop publishing requirements including but not limited to customer proposals & presentations

Management of the brand & communications budget to ensure that it is implemented on the appropriate initiatives and within its parameters.

Responsibility for all the designs, visuals, website and deals with marketing agencies, content management, business campaigns, concept development and execution, business thought leadership articles

Develops the SMMEs brand development, marketing plan and assist with the Sales & Business Plan

Coordinates the business SMS communication

Reporting:

Provide a report on a monthly and quarterly basis of Brand and Communications activities and initiatives.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Marketing

Matric (Senior Certificate)

Valid Driver’s License

Experience

Minimum 5 Years’ relevant experience in Marketing, Branding & Communications, Digital Marketing

Relevant experience with working with a B2B sales team.

Strong Marketing, Branding & Communications knowledge, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing

Computer skills: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Publisher, Graphic Design (Full Adobe Suit) (advanced skill level)

Salary: R35 – R45 000pm CTC
