Marketing Manager, R50k/month, Edenvale (JHB), AA Female, Immediate start

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the Cosmetic field is looking for a suitable individual to fill the above roll.

Purpose of this position: 

Develop and execute an Omni-Channel (Retail Store Marketing and E-Commerce) and Customer Engagement Strategy for a Southern African beauty brand with over 150 stores.

Responsibilities:

Develop a marketing strategy that increases brand awareness and enhances brand equity and lifetime value of customers across all channels.

Manage in-store activations, as well as in-store digital and print campaigns

Ensure that stores are trained to effectively implement visual merchandising standards

Assist with the migration from print advertising media in stores to predominantly digital in-store advertising and centralised content management.   

Define and execute strategy for omnichannel marketing, including the loyalty program, customer engagement strategy, E-store and Click and Collect.

Build out and optimise customer relationship marketing platforms and customer care

Define the similarities and differences of product and brand strategies in retail outlets compared to online

Manage all social media initiatives and content production

Collaborate with marketing agencies to achieve the company’s marketing KPI’s

Effectively partner with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure all digital campaign activities are properly identified, communicated, planned, executed, and measured.

Manage use of influencers and eventing to enhance brand awareness

Marketing and management of special events

Grow and develop a small marketing team

Effectively manage outsourced and contracted services

Manage budgets and measure ROI’s across platforms

Strategic thinker effectively able to lead change

Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn analytics into data-driven insights and recommendations

Staff Management

Ability to drive multiple projects from concept to completion

Effectively build cross functional relationships

Requirements including qualifications and experience:

A valid driver’s license and able to travel locally and internationally

5 – 10 years marketing experience in a medium sized company, including the management of an insourced and outsourced marketing team

Essential experience:  Omni Channel, Digital, and Retail Marketing

Marketing and executing a Consumer Brand and Customer Engagement Strategy

Experience within the consulting, Digital Agency and consumer products industry is preferred

Marketing degree, or related qualification is a requirement

Excellent knowledge of marketing best practises and legislation

Demonstrate a track record in managing the customer lifecycle including increasing customer loyalty

Passionate about brand identity

Fluent in English and Xhosa
