Marketing Consultant

SUMMARY:
Support the sales team in strengthening our distributor channels for OraQuick HIV, OraQuick HIV Self-Test, OraQuick HCV and future Covid RDT to improve in-country market knowledge and product support.

POSITION INFO:

• Gain and maintain an understanding of the market dynamics in the field of HIV, Hepatitis C and Covid diagnostics
• Provide market intelligence reports for key countries, inclusive of: current volumes of HIV testing and market share, HIV testing channels (public and private), HIV testing patient journey, competition, country level testing policies, guidelines in development,  key funders and implementers, annual opportunistic programming (eg WAD), and other information as indication by OTI leadership. 
• Conduct regional qualitative interviews with key HIVST policy makers, NGOs or funders. 
• Facilitate introductions to NGOs, patient partnership groups, for OraQuick HIV Self-Test within the region.
• Build on the company’s current marketing message and support materials to build the OraQuick brand through the region in both medical profession settings and pharmacy/consumer sales. 
• Develop and sustain close contact with Key Opinion leaders, Dept of Health and governmental officials, NGO’s and other customers within Territory. 
• Support the sales team in strengthening our distributor channels for OraQuick HIV, OraQuick HIV Self-Test, OraQuick HCV and future Covid RDT to improve in-country market knowledge and product support. 
• Formulate and enact a comprehensive marketing plan to demonstrate competitive advantage of the OraQuick  HIV, HCV and Covid products
• Establish prelaunch studies with new UrSure Adherence test. Prepare market for launch of OraQuick HCV Self-test and Covid Self-test. 
• Work with US marketing team to build Direct to Consumer interface for OraQuick Self-Tests
• Deliver clear and concise territory marketing updates on regular basis
