The Role: Marketing Assistant/Junior Artworker
This position is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for organisation and production support. As a Marketing Assistant/Junior Artworker, you will play a crucial role in coordinating content creation workflows, ensuring smooth delivery of both print and digital materials, and liaising with internal teams and clients. The focus of this role is on administration and coordination, with some light design and artwork preparation duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and manage client information, assets, and instructions.
- Prepare, maintain, and archive working files and project documentation.
- Support the production of print and digital materials from brief through to delivery.
- Track and manage schedules for content, artwork, and approvals.
- Assist in reviewing and resolving queries from editors, clients, or project leads.
- Liaise with sales, editorial, and design teams to coordinate workflow and ensure deadlines are met.
- Proofread content and artwork for quality and accuracy.
- Format and prepare artwork for use in print, email newsletters, websites, or social media.
- Maintain internal databases, trackers, and client folders with up-to-date information.
- Process and reconcile basic records related to supplier bookings, artwork delivery, and file handovers.
- Provide support with creating and editing simple visuals, graphics, or document layouts using Adobe InDesign or similar tools.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, media packs, and final assets for clients.
- Monitor and update task boards and calendars using platforms such as Asana.
About You
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar administrative, production support, or marketing coordination role.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Comfortable with basic use of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop).
- Familiarity with production and publishing workflows is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in liaising with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work autonomously where required.
- A team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
