South Africa’s leading CBD wellness brand is looking to hire an experienced and energetic marketing assistant who will work  hand in hand with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for the brand.

As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify opportunities for growth, increasing awareness of the brand as well as creating and executing marketing campaigns and deliverables.

You will also be required to provide administrative support to our marketing and brand teams.

To be chosen for this role, you must have a bachelor''s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Prior work experience in retail or marketing is required. Experience in digital marketing is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role.

Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Build awareness for the brand by creating high impact regular and relevant communications
• Stimulate demand for our products by increasing reach, visibility, and advocacy of our brand
• Drive trial and conversion of our products
• Collaborating with marketing, internal teams, and partners on marketing strategy
• Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for growth & innovation
• Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing
• Providing administrative support to the marketing
• Understanding product and brand

Marketing Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years retail & marketing experience essential
• Digital marketing experience 
• Effective written and verbal communication, organization and time management skills
• A high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Competency in G-suite (GMail, Google Docs, etc)
