Marketing Assistant

SUMMARY:
As Marketing Assistant for the Company you will support the sales and marketing efforts for the South African offices and work together closely with our team in the UK. You will join a team of 7 marketers and play an instrumental role in delivering the global marketing plan.

POSITION INFO:

As Marketing Assistant for the Company you will support the sales and marketing efforts for the South African offices and work together closely with our team in the UK. You will join a team of 7 marketers and play an instrumental role in delivering the global marketing plan. The role will be based in Cape Town and will report into the SA Head of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer campaigns & Channel Partner support
• Assist with the production of local content in our content management platform Turtl
• Produce, maintain and update other collateral assets for the SA sales team
• Digital support in creating online mailers and campaigns
• Become a product champion for Hubspot and assist with lead tracking, setting up of emails and reporting to relevant stakeholders
• Assist with creating of content for partner and new lead gen email campaigns, social media posts, slide decks and any other collateral that might be needed
• Assist social media strategy of the team led by our Digital Marketing Manager in the UK specifically for SA partners and events

Reporting:

• Assist with creating the monthly board meeting marketing deck
• Track spend against budget on an ongoing basis
• Accurately track ROI against all spend you are responsible for
• Work closely with the sales team, ensuring leads are actioned in a timely fashion with all relevant lead information accurately recorded in Hubspot and CRM
• Track and monitor new lead gen campaigns, compile follow up reports and manage follow up of leads

Events:

• Assist channel marketing manager with co-branded, partner events
• Assist with the Company''s participation in industry conferences. To include event strategy, KPIs, collateral, stand design, team briefings, lead capture and follow-up
• Assist and execute program for customer engagement events Roundtables, partner breakfasts and Executive dinners
• Measure accurate ROI of all events
• Assist with the distribution and tracking of MQLs and SQLs to sales team
• Assist with promotional merchandise and event collateral when needed

Other:

• Shadow Head of Marketing SA and aid on projects as required
• Assist the CMO and heads of marketing on delivering the global demand generation program 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of marketing experience with a specific focus/interest in campaign planning, execution and reporting
• Experience in the IT / Data / Cloud space is a PLUS
• Knowledge of Marketing Automation and CRM tools such as MS Dynamics, Hubspot and PowerBi will be beneficial.
• Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn

• Comfortable working in an organised, structured and creative environment
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong team player
