My client a reputable company in the FMCG Industry is looking for a Strong candidate in the Marketing & Product Development Field

Description

A local, high-growth, dynamic and energetic manufacturer and supplier of stationery and books, is looking for a qualified/experienced Marketing and Product specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and motivated self-starter with initiative and creativity. Looking for a hardworking, trustworthy, and organized person, with a strong ability to multi-task. A can-do attitude is a must, along with the ability to learn quickly, and adapt to a demanding and changing work environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a comprehensive marketing portfolio and build on a growing brand, all while gaining an understanding of the inner workings of the stationery and publishing market.

Key Responsibilities

Overall management of all marketing related functions including POS, Social/digital media, CSI campaigns, in-store promoters and relevant trade shows
Seek and analyse competitor marketing and sales activities both on and offline
Conduct Market Research where necessary
Maintain tracking report of marketing campaigns
Product Development from concept to launch
Seek out new trends
Sourcing of products and suppliers
Cost negotiations & supplier negotiations
Product Testing, quality control & adherence to individual private label product requirements
Licensor relationship management & license product approvals
Identify & manage strategic partnerships and run campaigns
Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
Oversee and manage design team, and trade marketing team
Support the Key accounts, and Sales Manager with ad hoc campaigns and tasks to achieve business objectives

Position requirements:

Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word and Outlook).
Advanced excel skills are a must
Digital marketing experience
Product marketing experience
Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn technology platforms to support various forms of digital marketing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous marketing position experience a must
