A local, high-growth, dynamic and energetic manufacturer and supplier of stationery and books, is looking for a qualified/experienced Marketing and Product specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management of all marketing related functions including POS, Social/digital media, CSI campaigns, in-store promoters and relevant trade shows
• Seek and analyse competitor marketing and sales activities both on and offline
• Conduct Market Research where necessary
• Maintain tracking report of marketing campaigns
• Product Development from concept to launch
• Seek out new trends
• Sourcing of products and suppliers
• Cost negotiations & supplier negotiations
• Product Testing, quality control & adherence to individual private label product requirements
• Licensor relationship management & license product approvals
• Identify & manage strategic partnerships and run campaigns
• Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
• Oversee and manage design team, and trade marketing team
• Support the Key accounts, and Sales Manager with ad hoc campaigns and tasks to achieve business objectives

Position requirements:

• Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word and Outlook).
• Advanced excel skills are a must
• Digital marketing experience
• Product marketing experience
• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn technology platforms to support various forms of digital marketing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous marketing position experience a must
