Introduction

Our Client is a leading global solutions and services provider for photovoltaics and energy storage. The family-owned company offers complete solutions for electricity generation and storage by the sun. The Company covers the entire spectrum, from distribution, services and turnkey projects in selected countries.
Our Client has been operating in South Africa since 2017. The scope of our local business activities is being an integrated solar systems and services provider, wholesale of PV components and operating through an installer network system in Southern Africa.

For supporting our growing business we are looking for an IT & Marketing Officer reporting to our Management in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Customer relation data & newsletter management in the corresponding mail software
• Online shop administration in front- and back-end plus interfacing with the ERP software in
• cooperation with the Product Manager
• Customer data administration in the company’s ERP software
• Social media postings, ads and back end administration
• Graphic design for advertising and content creation
• SEO optimization, Google ads and website content administration in cooperation with HQ
• Content management of company presentation and other marketing tools
• Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
• Public relation work and preparation of press releases
• Support of Office Manager with tasks in the ERP system
• Administrative tasks in the internal sales office
• Organising events and product exhibitions

• Matric
• Relevant Tertiary Education is an advantage
• Knowledge with image manipulation software required e.g. Photoshop, Gimp
• Experience in content creation and campaign management needed e.g. Mailchimp
• CMS experience i.e. Typo 3, WordPress
• 3-5 years relevant IT & Marketing experience is an advantage
• Excellent English skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer facing environment
• Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively multi-task daily and meet deadlines
• Assertive, confident and clear communicator – via e-mail, phone and face-to-face
