SUMMARY:
A globally competive client based in the Musgrave area is recruiting for a Marketing & Communications Specialist on a one year fixed term contract, to oversee and administer all the logistical and tactical matters of the marketing and communications area.

POSITION INFO:

To handle the Marketing activities of the company:

Source advertising opportunities and placing adverts upon approval in the press, local, regional, national, international and specialist publications, including radio.
Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletter, e-newsletter, DVD’s etc.
Write and proof read copy.
Liaise with the designers and printers.
Organize photo shoots.
Arrange the effective distribution of marketing material.
Maintain and update customer’s databases.
Organize and attend events such as stakeholder relations meetings, conferences, workshops, receptions and exhibitions.
Evaluating marketing campaigns.

To handle the Communication activities of the company:

Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including members of industry, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations.
Communicate with target audiences and management of relationships.

Assist in planning and implementing communications strategies and plans aligned to the overall strategy.
Liaise and form relationships with the media and media publications, both industry and general media.
Manage media contact, write press releases and articles.
Develop messaging strategies, write speeches and develop speaking points.
Coordinate media requests.
Help maximize the website – i.e. face book, twitter, you tube etc. upgrades and changes.

To provide input into the Marketing Strategy and implement the marketing strategy.

To facilitate the brand management of the brand in line with the strategic objectives of the company.

Degree or Diploma in Marketing and/or Communications.
2. 3-5 years’ experience in a Marketing/Communications role
