Manufacturing Supervisors

SUMMARY:
We are looking to employ experienced and qualified Manufacturing (line / production) Supervisors who have significant experience in a manufacturing environment. Suitable candidate must have solid experience as a supervisor / team leader / line manager.

POSITION INFO:

MANUFACTURING SUPERVISORS (SHIFTS)
Market Related Salary Package with benefits plus allowances and overtime
Cape Town

We are looking to employ experienced and qualified Manufacturing (line / production) Supervisors who have significant experience in a manufacturing environment. Suitable candidate must have solid experience as a supervisor / team leader / line manager. Must be able and willing to work shifts. Must have own reliable car / vehicle to travelled to and from work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Essential – must have Matric / Grade 12 with Maths as subject.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing production environment
• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ supervisory or leadership experience (experienced and able to manage a team)
• Solid experience and good understanding of Health and Safety regulations within a manufacturing plant.
• Own reliable car is absolutely essential
• Valid driver license
• Must be willing and able to work shifts (12 hour shifts) – day and night shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of the manufacturing operational procedures
• Manage quality standards in accordance with set targets and guidelines
• Manage risk by identifying potential failures and offering solutions to remedy risk
• Team supervision to ensure smooth operation of the shift
• Manage consumables and spares to ensure that production runs smoothly
• Investigate incidents and communicate findings and possible solutions timeously
• Complete incident reports and submit such to the Line Manager or his delegate
• Implementation and monitoring of Occupation Health and Safety compliance
• Manage and enforce housekeeping standards
