SUMMARY:

Do you reside in the Strand/Stellenbosch/Somerset West area and have Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment? We are requiring an all-rounder who has experience managing staff in a busy manufacturing facility and would like to grow their skills. Must be able to speak Afrikaans & English well to manage staff within this highly successful manufacturing team.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

Matric and relevant qualifications highly advantageous

Own transport and drivers license

Experience managing staff in manufacturing

First Language preferably Afrikaans and must be able to speak English

Excellent supervisory and leadership skills with ability to train staff

Strong verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills

Proven ability to meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs

DUTIES

Manage a team of employees in a manufacturing environment

Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of the team, always looking for improvements and upliftment of staff

Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations to staff

Oversee manufacturing during shift

Manage employees in the range of 15 employees

Prepare work schedules to ensure the team works efficiently and effectivelyt

Troubleshooting for problems and and provide solutions

Contact maintenance department of equipment problems

Ensure that employees comply with applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures

Ensure reports are completed

Performs any other related duties as assigned within the company

Salary: R17 – 20k dependent on experience
