Manufacturing Logistics Controller (Particle Board), Ermelo, Rneg

• Qualified or studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Logistics Manufacturing experience
• 2 - 3 years in Logistics/Distribution environment
• 2 - 3 years sound knowledge of particle board

The logistics co-ordinator is responsible for the execution of the daily scheduled loads, maximizing vehicle and forklift utilization in the best cost-effective way and also ensure work continuity in his/her team

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
• Co-ordinate logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
• Supervise orders and arrange stock and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management
